Search tips - Clients
You can search your client records using one or a combination of search fields on the client management screen. Below is a table outlining each field and it’s capabilities.
| Field | Description | Search Type |

| Client name | The business name for your client | Partial string match. |
| First name | The first name of any client contacts | Exact string match. |
| Surname | The suname of any client contacts | Exact string match. |
| Postcode | The client address postcode | Exact string match. |
| The email address for any client contacts | Exact string match. | |
| Telephone | The telephone number for any client contacts | Exact string match. |
| Account reference | An optional account reference | Partial string match. |
| Direct Debit filter | Does the client have a GoCardless Direct Debit mandate | Filter clients with Direct Debit mandates |
